Process
As usual, the world starts out with a terrain by forming mountains, hills and rivers from height map brushes as a basis, then continues by texturing said landscape like in this case by angle masks and around water spots. In the following, structures, paths, bridges, portals, trees and signs get added to this spawn until it neatly fits together.
